At Crescendo Music Studios, we’re committed to giving our students opportunities to perform whenever we can! We create our own live music events and join in many other community-run events all year round. We have dozens of events scheduled throughout the year including:

- Winter and spring recitals
- Crescendo Video Showcase
- The Sherwood Park Music Festival
- Summer music festivals
- Outdoor community concerts

Roald Dahl’s “Matilda” is the story of a girl who dreams of a better life and the children she inspires will have audiences rooting for the “revolting children” who are out to teach the grown-ups a lesson. This is a wonderful event the whole family will enjoy!
Saturday, May 24, 7:30 – 9:00 pm and Sunday, May 25 (Times to be determined): Rockin’ at the Rec Room at the Rec Room (South Common – 1725 99 St NW, Edmonton)
Each day, there will be multiple sets – details to follow. Entry is FREE – all you have to do is show up! Delicious food is available for purchase.
Crescendo offers Rockin’ at the Rec Room as a chance for the WeJam bands, staff bands and other advanced performers to play on a concert stage with professional lighting and sound. Whether or not you have family or friends performing, we’d love to have you join us at this lively concert and experience a side of our studio you may not have seen before. Maybe you’ll be inspired to try something new! Most importantly, you’re bound to have a blast no matter what!

Saturday, June 14: Video Showcase Awards Night
Join us to recognize the top Video Showcase performances. Details will be shared closer to the date.
Saturday, June, 14 , 3 – 4:15 pm: Performance at Seniors’ Lodge (TBD) Crescendo students and staff will be providing an afternoon of entertainment for the residents. See your teacher if you would like to perform.
Monday, June 16 – Saturday, June 21: Casual Concert Week in the Crescendo Lobby. At Crescendo, we believe in celebrating every performance opportunity, and we love when our students share impromptu pop-up performances in the lobby. Our space is always ready for these spontaneous shows, creating a fun and supportive environment for sharing music. Students who wish to participate will perform a song during their lesson. If you’re in the lobby waiting for your own lesson or your child’s, you’ll have the chance to enjoy being part of the audience!
Friday, June 27 and Saturday, June 28: Coffee House at the Rooster Kitchen (10732 Whyte Ave NW, Edmonton)
Crescendo students and staff will be performing at the Rooster Kitchen. If you would like to perform, please talk to your teacher. All are welcome to attend – no charge. All you have to do is show up to enjoy the live music and support our students. Delicious food is available for purchase.
