We LOVE Live Music!

At Crescendo Music Studios, we’re committed to giving our students opportunities to perform whenever we can! We create our own live music events and join in many other community-run events all year round. We have dozens of events scheduled throughout the year including:

• Casual concert week in our Crescendo lobby
• Winter and spring recitals
• Crescendo Video Showcase
• The Sherwood Park Music Festival
• Summer music festivals
• Outdoor community concerts
• Local coffee house open mic performances

Crescendo’s Performance Calendar for November 2024

Sunday, Nov. 17, 1 – 4 pm: Coffee House at Rooster Kitchen (10732 82 Ave, Edmonton) Crescendo students and staff have the opportunity to perform at the Rooster Kitchen on Whyte Avenue. All are welcome to attend – no charge. Delicious food is available for purchase. If you would like to perform, please speak with your teacher.

Saturday, Nov. 23, 1 – 4 pm: Silverbirch Lodge (910 Bison Way, Sherwood Park) Crescendo students and staff will be providing an afternoon of entertainment for the residents. See your teacher if you would like to perform.

Sunday, Nov. 24 – Monday, Dec. 2: Recital Week (Trinity Baptist Church, 22550 Township Rd 530, Sherwood Park) Recitals will be held throughout the week. Students are already working on their recital piece(s). Scheduling information has been emailed, or will be sent in the upcoming weeks. There are NO regular lessons during Recital Week.

Saturday, Nov. 30, 9 am – 4 pm: Winterfest (The Agora, Strathcona County Community Centre, 401 Festival Lane, Sherwood Park) Join us at Winterfest on Saturday, November 30 for a day filled with joy, music and excitement! This is a FREE family event organized by the Festival Place Cultural Arts Foundation. Crescendo students and staff will be performing throughout the day. Check out the schedule of events. Sunday, Dec. 15, TBC: GLOW Edmonton (Edmonton Expo Centre, 7515 118 Ave, Edmonton) Tickets are required to attend this event. GLOW – “the ultimate holiday light spectacle” – runs from Dec. 4 – 31.
